Position Responsibilities:

The mission of the V.P. of Sales is to lead our sales organization and drive revenue growth. The VP of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing the sales team, and fostering key customer relationships to achieve ambitious sales targets. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record of success in sales management and a deep understanding of our industry.

This role includes:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company’s business goals and drive revenue growth.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team. Recruit, train, and retain top talent to ensure the team’s success.
  • Sales Performance: Set and monitor sales targets and KPIs. Analyze sales performance data and make informed decisions to optimize sales efforts.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities. Use insights to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure alignment and drive overall company success.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives to the executive team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or related field
  • 10+ years in a Sales supervisory role
  • Early startup experience
  • Proven success in performance management for mid- large team sizes
  • Strong skills in verbal and written communications, strategic planning, and project management
  • Analytical and process-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple departments in a deadline-driven environment
  • Active team player, self-starter, and multitasker who can quickly adjust priorities
