With a team of 60 and a dedicated external tech team of 14, we are revolutionizing the prop trading industry by scaling our trading platform for the future. Our goal is to deliver a high-performance, ultra-reliable trading system that can support exponential growth while maintaining the agility of a startup.
✅ Deep understanding of high-frequency trading (HFT) systems – You should be familiar with the complexities of low-latency execution, order matching, risk management, and market data processing.
✅ Scalable architecture experience – You must have built or significantly scaled high-throughput transactional systems that process tens of thousands of transactions per second.
✅ Proficiency in C# – Our core trading platform runs on C#, so hands-on experience is critical. Bonus points for experience with low-latency programming, networking, and performance tuning.
✅ Cloud-native development and infrastructure – You should be well-versed in AWS, GCP, or Azure, using containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) to orchestrate scalable environments.
✅ API & system integration – Experience designing, optimizing, and securing APIs for high-performance data exchange is essential.
✅ Proven ability to recruit, mentor, and lead top-tier engineering teams – You’ll be responsible for hiring and structuring an internal tech team that can operate independently.
✅ Experience working in global, distributed teams
✅ Hands-on leadership approach – While you’ll be leading the tech strategy, you should also be willing to dive into the code, troubleshoot critical issues, and optimize performance as needed.
✅ Understanding of the proprietary trading industry – While not required, experience in futures trading or financial technology would give you an edge in building systems optimized for traders.
✅ Ability to de-risk and future-proof the platform – You must create a roadmap that eliminates single points of failure, removes reliance on third parties, and ensures long-term stability.
✅ Clear communication with stakeholders – You’ll be expected to explain technical strategies to non-technical executives, investors, and key business partners.
