Scalers – Performance-Driven Affiliate Business

Scalers is not a traditional agency.

We:

  • Fund 100% of advertising spend
  • Operate as affiliates (commissions / revenue share)
  • Run a team of expert media buyers as internal affiliates
  • Operate in a strictly performance-driven model

We do not manage client ad budgets or charge retainers.
If your background is primarily agency or client services, this role is not a fit.

COMPANY CONTEXT

Scalers has been operating for 7 years and is the largest and most established business within a broader performance marketing ecosystem.

We operate inside an integrated flywheel that includes:

  • Affiliate Takeover — a global conference brand at the center of the affiliate industry, attracting top brands and high-level talent
  • Info business — education programs that take affiliates from 0→1 and 1→10, and serve as a direct hiring pipeline for proven operators

These businesses reinforce each other by design:

  • The conference drives attention, trust, and deal flow
  • Education develops and filters talent
  • Scalers selects the best deals and the best talent — and scales them aggressively

Scalers is the core execution engine of this ecosystem and the primary revenue driver.

We currently work with some of the largest and most respected brands in the space, including Golden Hippo and Mindvalley.


This role requires operational maturity at that level.

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS

We are hiring a General Manager to run the business day-to-day.

You are not being hired to:

  • Be a founder
  • Be a visionary
  • Be a hands-on media buyer

You are being hired to:

  • Manage and scale internal affiliates (media buyers)
  • Own performance, systems, and accountability
  • Remove the founders from daily execution
  • Ensure traffic, brands, and talent convert into predictable profit

The media buyers are the performers.
You are the operator who runs the system.

THE OPERATING MODEL YOU’LL MANAGE

  • Media buyers operate as internal affiliates
  • Multiple buyers may run the same products
  • Scalers funds all spend
  • Performance directly determines opportunity for scale

High performers earn more scale.
Underperformers are capped.

This creates:

  • Healthy internal competition
  • Fast learning loops
  • Zero complacency

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Internal Affiliate & Media Buyer Management

  • Manage, coach, and hold internal affiliates accountable
  • Onboard new media buyers and ramp them quickly
  • Maintain a competitive, performance-driven environment
  • Ensure clear rules and transparent comparisons

Brand Onboarding & Growth

  • Onboard new brands and offers
  • Coordinate launches with media buyers and specialists
  • Ensure execution quality from launch to scale

Performance Tracking & Infrastructure

  • Ensure performance is tracked cleanly and accurately across buyers, offers, and accounts
  • Own attribution logic and reporting integrity
  • Oversee rollout and ongoing use of affiliate tracking infrastructure (Everflow)
  • Build and maintain internal dashboards showing revenue, profit, and ROI per buyer and per offer

Strong preference for candidates with prior experience using Everflow (or comparable affiliate tracking platforms).
You are not expected to implement code, but you must understand how the system works and how to operate it to drive daily decisions.

Scorecards & Targets (CRITICAL)

  • Build and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly scorecards
  • Set targets per buyer, offer, and team
  • Track spend, revenue, profit, ROI, and testing velocity
  • Enforce accountability through numbers, not opinions

Founder Detachment (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

  • Run daily operations independently
  • Identify what is required to scale
  • Communicate clearly and execute without oversight
  • Escalate only strategic or critical issues

ROLE TRAJECTORY

This role starts as Head of Operations / GM.

For the right candidate, it can evolve into a CEO-style role based strictly on performance:

We are not hiring a CEO on day one.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Has done this before
  • Experience inside affiliate or performance-driven media buying businesses
  • Managed multiple media buyers running similar offers
  • Comfortable making performance-based decisions in fast-moving environments
  • Strong understanding of tracking, attribution, and dashboards
  • Calm, disciplined, numbers-first operator

Strong preference: Candidates from affiliate or performance collectives

COMPENSATION

  • Fixed monthly compensation
  • Performance-based incentives
  • Realistic total upside: $20K–$30K/month
  • No equity required
  • High responsibility, high trust role
