Responsibilities:

  • Administer chemotherapy treatments to patients as prescribed by oncologists.
  • Monitor and assess patient reactions to treatments, ensuring immediate and appropriate care.
  • Educate patients and families about chemotherapy protocols, potential side effects, and post-treatment care.
  • Collaborate with oncologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documenting all treatment-related details.
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control policies.
  • Provide emotional support to patients throughout their treatment journey.
  • Stay updated on the latest oncology care guidelines and chemotherapy protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of New Mexico.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in oncology nursing or chemotherapy administration.
  • Oncology Nursing Certification (ONS
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered care approach.
  • Demonstrates a genuine passion for delivering exceptional care, consistently striving to ensure their comfort, well-being, and satisfaction
