Position Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all IT functions, including infrastructure, systems administration, cybersecurity, and end-user support.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement a long-term IT strategy, including assessing current Microsoft-based systems and exploring alternatives like Google Workspace.
• Provide strong local, on-site support while also enabling efficient remote assistance.
• Resolve technical issues promptly and thoroughly; ensure minimal downtime and high-quality internal user experience.
• Manage relationships with any third-party IT vendors, ensuring accountability, cost control, and service-level excellence.
• Collaborate directly with leadership to ensure IT systems align with business goals and workflows.
• Lead the optimization, cleanup, or full transition of existing platforms, depending on the final strategic direction (Microsoft vs. Google/Mac-based).
• Support both PC and Mac environments, ensuring compatibility, security, and functionality across tools and platforms.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Proven experience in IT leadership, ideally as an IT Director or Senior IT Manager.
• Strong familiarity with both Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace (G Suite), with the ability to evaluate trade-offs between platforms.
• Experience supporting Mac environments, including system setup, device management, and user training.
• Demonstrated ability to manage outsourced providers and internal IT operations.
• Track record of driving operational efficiency in high-growth or fast-paced environments.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.
• Experience managing IT operations, budgets, and project delivery.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially when interfacing with non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work on-site in Albuquerque as needed.
