Position Responsibilities:
The Head of Revenue will be a key member of our team reporting to the GM at Martel Media. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales, marketing, and business development. The ideal candidate will have experience in scaling revenue operations in a startup environment and a deep understanding of our market.
This role includes:
- Develop and implement comprehensive revenue growth strategies.
- Identify new revenue opportunities and optimize existing revenue streams.
- Lead, mentor, and grow the sales team.
- Set and achieve sales targets and KPIs.
- Develop and refine sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure marketing strategies are driving quality leads and supporting revenue goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
- Oversee revenue operations to ensure seamless execution of revenue strategies.
- Implement tools and systems to track and optimize revenue performance.
- Ensure client satisfaction and retention through effective client success strategies
Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record in scaling and building sales teams.
- Previous experience with sales by 'sell by chat'
- Proven experience in a senior revenue, sales, or business development role.
- Experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective revenue strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
