Position Responsibilities:

The Head of Revenue will be a key member of our team reporting to the GM at Martel Media. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales, marketing, and business development. The ideal candidate will have experience in scaling revenue operations in a startup environment and a deep understanding of our market.

This role includes:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive revenue growth strategies.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities and optimize existing revenue streams.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow the sales team.
  • Set and achieve sales targets and KPIs.
  • Develop and refine sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure marketing strategies are driving quality leads and supporting revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
  • Oversee revenue operations to ensure seamless execution of revenue strategies.
  • Implement tools and systems to track and optimize revenue performance.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and retention through effective client success strategies

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in scaling and building sales teams.
  • Previous experience with sales by 'sell by chat'
  • Proven experience in a senior revenue, sales, or business development role.
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective revenue strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
